ABOUT THE DIRECTORS:
MuslimYouthMentors was founded by Zohaib Qamar, Junaid Vali, and Haseeb Chowdhry in 2016. The founders were involved in helping the community members in areas of education, mentorship, and career advice for several years prior to founding this organization. The goal was to create a format and organization for professionals in the industry to give back to students in HS/College, and those starting out their careers.
Zohaib Qamar is a CPA and earned his bachelors and MBA at St. John’s University. He worked at PwC for eight years prior to joining his current organization the PCAOB. Zohaib is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential and learn about different career paths and sharing tips for success in college and careers.
Junaid Vali is a CPA and earned his bachelors at Baruch College and his Master’s at Queens College. He has worked at PwC for several year and currently works at E&Y. Junaid is passionate about helping college students to learn about internship opportunities and helping connect students with mentors in the professional world.
