WHAT WE DO

MuslimYouthMentors is a group dedicated to helping the youth in the New York and Long Island area. We are dedicated to helping high school, college students, and young professionals to get ahead in their professional careers by helping connect them with mentors, network, and sharing resources.

We hold various workshops throughout the year at different venues to help connect professionals with students, parents, and young professionals. We also work with other organizations to establish mentorship programs formally and informally. In addition, on an ad-hoc basis we try to connect students with professionals in the field.

MYM also has an annual scholarship for students in HS and College. We offer students money to help pay for college related expenses. We have offered over $5,000 to the community in the form of scholarship and grants over the past two years.

• If you are an organization/masjid/Islamic center- reach out to us to host a career event.

• If you are a HS/College student looking for career advice- reach out to us to be matched with a mentor.

• If you are an experienced professional- reach out to us to be matched with mentees, speak at future events, and learn about other ways to give back.

• If you are a young professional- reach out to us to hear about upcoming networking events, and also to be matched with a mentor.
